  • Degrees in Economics and in Arts (Applied Linguistics) from the Australian National University in Canberra.



Alexandra is Chief of Staff at the Box Hill Institute Group and has responsibilities in strategic and business planning as well as state and federal government liaison.



Alexandra Chittenden joined the Box Hill Institute Group after holding the appointment of Assistant Trade Commissioner and Consul for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in Frankfurt, Germany.

Before commencing in Frankfurt, Alexandra was a member of Austrade’s International Operations Growth and Emerging Markets team, based in Sydney with coordination responsibilities across South Asia, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Russia and the CIS and first joined Austrade as an Analyst in the Economic Research team. In this role, Alexandra undertook research projects across the pillars of Trade, Investment and Education and led research papers across a variety of topics.

Prior to joining Austrade, Alexandra was based in Sydney as an analyst in the management team of an Australian private education provider, Navitas English and, before that, worked in international schools in the Middle East.
