  • Diploma of Business Studies, RMIT
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
  • Graduate Certificate in Project Management

 

Areas of Responsibility

Jennifer is charged with delivering educational leadership across the Institute to ensure it remains pre-eminent as a provider of quality education and training, and gains competitive advantage through market differentiation.

Jennifer provides high level strategic advice to the Chief Executive Officer on initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes, overseeing the development of new educational programs including Degrees, and the implementation of the Institute’s Education Plan.

Jennifer builds the reputation and academic quality of teaching through a variety of strategies, including: an improved profile of expert teaching staff; design of MasterClass programs tailored to a blended delivery model; personalised approaches to teaching and learning; increasing student mobility; and scholarship opportunities and seamless pathways with key partners including universities.

 

Professional Background

Jennifer has more than 30 years’ experience as a TAFE practitioner in both teaching and management positions. Prior to her current role, Jennifer was responsible for Learning and Academic Affairs. She also managed Industry Education and Training, which included the design and implementation of work-based training programs, language and literacy support, and teacher professional development.

Jennifer has represented the Institute at international forums, on government and industry steering committees and OECD research projects.
