Arts and Skills Institute (ASI) is located in downtown Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The Institute is pioneering education and training in fashion and visual arts for women as the first educational institution of its type in Saudi Arabia.
The Institute uses Australian teaching methods based on the acquisition of practical skills from industry trained teachers. The specialised training in art and design also incorporates the history, heritage and values of Saudi society.
A feature of the institute is the distinctive ground floor Art Pur Foundation Gallery, in which students can organise and run exhibitions of their creations while gaining valuable practical experience.
Graduates have been highly successful in securing positions in Saudi Arabia and Europe in their fields. Others such as Noura al Shaikh, Reem al Kanhal and Mashael al Faris have founded their own fashion labels.
ASI also has an extensive visiting artist program that brings both Saudi and international visitors from Europe, Japan and Australia to provide workshops for the students.
As our educational partner, ASI provides Australian national qualifications recognised by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation of Saudi Arabia (TVET).
An extensive range of short courses is also provided in painting, sculpture and multimedia.
