Outstanding Achievement in International Education

CCID - Werner Award - JOBox Hill Institute’s Executive Director Academic Affairs (VET & Higher Ed), Jennifer Oliver has received the prestigious Dr Werner Kubsch Award for Outstanding Achievement in International Education.

The Community Colleges for International Development (CCID), based in the United States, presents this award annually to an educator who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in international education related to community colleges and similar institutions worldwide, and who is a leading advocate for global education. Jennifer is the first recipient of this award outside of the United States or Canada.

The award is named after Dr Werner Kubsch, a German entrepreneur who was an advocate for community colleges and organised international study tours. He was the founder and president of Studiosus Reisen München, the largest independent educational and cultural travel organisation in Europe.

The award was presented to Jennifer at the 41st Annual CCID Conference in Houston, USA on Sunday, 17 February 2017.
