Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Elgar campus can be found on Elgar Rd in Box Hill.

Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Nelson campus is the second location in Box Hill situated on Whitehorse Road.

Located 15 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Whitehorse campus can be found on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.

Our CBD campus, which houses the Centre for Adult Education, is situated in the heart of Melbourne&rsquo;s Central Business District.

Our Lakeside Lilydale campus serves the local community as an active learning centre with a range of vocational and higher education courses. The campus is also home to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

The Adult Migrant English Program&nbsp;(AMEP)&nbsp;is a free service funded by the Australian Government.&nbsp; It supports the acquisition of English language skills for eligible adult migrants and humanitarian entrants. Through language tuition, the program seeks to advance social participation, economic wellbeing, independence, and personal wellbeing; all contributing to enabling the full participation of migrants in Australian life.

At Box Hill Institute Barbershop we offer mens haircuts, shaves, and grooming, all for only $5. Bookings are not required and walkins are welcome. The barbershop is open to the students, employees and the public on&nbsp;Monday &amp; Tuesday 9am-3pm. Mondays located building E5.108 and Tuesdays located in Barbershop.

Pets on Elgar is a small animal veterinary clinic run by professional staff who train our veterinary nursing and pet grooming students. Our service focuses on preventative care and includes annual health checks, vaccinations, microchipping, minor surgical procedures, hydrobathing and dog grooming. All pet grooming and veterinary nursing services are performed with student involvement under the direct supervision of qualified professionals.

Flowers on Elgar offers an affordable range of fresh and artificial products created by Box Hill Institute floristry students. Whether it’s a special event, wedding, birthday or you need something to brighten your home, we are able to assist. We are open Monday to Wednesday during school terms. 

Owned by Box Hill Institute, Fountains Restaurant is one of Australia's premier training restaurant. The quality menu showcases the best of seasonal produce, and the culinary style fuses the traditional with the modern. Having been in operation for over 30 years, Fountains has produced award-winning chefs including Tobie Puttock, George Calombaris, Guy Grossi, and Curtis Stone.

The Lilydale Lakeside Children’s Centre offers long day care, three and four-year-old kindergarten programs, a Maternal and Child Health centre, family services, a playgroup, and a toy library. We provide a safe, caring environment for children and our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to encourage children to develop self-reliance and self-esteem.

Lilydale Lakeside conferencing facilities are set on the doorstep of the scenic Yarra Valley and cater for a wide selection of events and functions. There is a variety of rooms to choose from with facilities dedicated to meet your conferencing needs. Whether it is a meeting for 10 or a conference for 200, we can arrange our rooms to make certain your meeting, conference or event is a standout success.

The Skills and Jobs Centres offer a range of services including careers advice, information on potential jobs and relevant training courses, areas of skills shortage or future growth, workshops to improve your job search skills, links with local employers, and referrals to other services including welfare assistance, financial guidance and disability support.

The PlayBox playgroup is an early learning program open to the public and led by our Early Childhood teachers and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care students. Each session involves children engaging in developmentally appropriate learning experiences and routines.

Partnering with Box Hill Institute at the Lilydale Lakeside Campus, Yarra Ranges Tech School (YRTS) offer a range of hands-on programs centred on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) skills to their 20 partner schools. They not only run school based programs but also host multiple community events focused on Space, Earth, Science, Robotics and careers in specific industry sector.
