Business & Management
Trainer and Assessment
Jason McCutcheon has a varied and diverse background starting his professional career as an industrial chemist, and progressed through management roles including quality assurance, sales, distribution, to then on to state and general management. A desire to share this experience and skill was the catalyst for his move into management training.
Jason believes the success of his training delivery is founded on his own personal business experience, which he brings to life in training sessions by using real examples of business practice. This approach connects the information delivered during training directly to the participant workplace, enabling them to apply knowledge and skills to their specific environment.
Jason takes the view that there is no point being just “book wise”- if you obtain a promotion you need to be ready. Consequently, you are encouraged to bring your workplace ideas and issues into class, to use as case studies and to help you solve real problems at work. He also spend time talking about what is not in the textbook- such as if customer service is critical to business success (as many management books would suggest), why do so many organisations do customer service so badly?
