Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Elgar campus can be found on Elgar Rd in Box Hill.

Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Nelson campus is the second location in Box Hill situated on Whitehorse Road.

Located 15 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Whitehorse campus can be found on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.

Our CBD campus is co-located with the Centre for Adult Education in the heart of Melbourne&rsquo;s Central Business District.

Our Lakeside Lilydale campus serves the local community as an active learning centre with a range of vocational and higher education courses. The campus is also home to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

Choosing healthcare can be a rewarding career for those who care about their community.&nbsp;
"It requires dedication, compassion, and a strong desire to make a difference in people's lives," says Josie, a determined student in the <a href="https://www.boxhill.edu.au/courses/diploma-of-nursing-hc544-d/">HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing</a> at Box Hill Institute.&nbsp;
Josie was attracted to the course for the pathway it provides to further study and a career in nursing. The smaller class sizes and emphasis on practical work appealed to her, allowing for a more hands-on learning experience.
"One of the most rewarding aspects of my study has been the friendships I've formed with other students," Josie said. "The shared experiences have made the course more enjoyable."&nbsp;
Josie also stressed the importance of learning how to interact with diverse individuals in real-world situations. Her teachers&rsquo; experiences and guidance have been invaluable in this regard.
"The teachers and trainers at Box Hill Institute have played a crucial role in my success," Josie said. "Learning from their experiences has been amazing, as they teach not just from textbooks but from their time in the field."&nbsp;

Through Box Hill Institute&rsquo;s practical training and industry placements, Josie has acquired the skills necessary to handle stressful situations and care for a wide variety of patients.&nbsp;
"These clinical experiences, while demanding, have been the most effective learning tools for me," she says. "They have equipped me with the practical knowledge and confidence needed for my future career in nursing."
Upon graduation, Josie plans to transition to a Bachelor of Nursing, furthering her education. Her ambition is to specialise in paediatric nursing at the Royal Children's Hospital where she can make a lasting impact in the world of healthcare.
