Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Elgar campus can be found on Elgar Rd in Box Hill.

Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Nelson campus is the second location in Box Hill situated on Whitehorse Road.

Located 15 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Whitehorse campus can be found on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.

Our CBD campus is co-located with the Centre for Adult Education in the heart of Melbourne&rsquo;s Central Business District.

Our Lakeside Lilydale campus serves the local community as an active learning centre with a range of vocational and higher education courses. The campus is also home to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

<h2>Paul Yao</h2>
<h3>might have fallen into construction, but it&rsquo;s no accident that he&rsquo;s succeeding in the industry.</h3>
Paul&rsquo;s first career was in medical research. Unfortunately, research funding was very limited. So, one of his friends convinced him to take on a construction job, and Paul found himself starting out in a whole new industry. &ldquo;I discovered I had a passion for building and design, so I decided to study. Thankfully I got some recognition for my prior experience.&rdquo;
After completing a Certificate IV in Building and Construction and an Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) at Box Hill Institute, Paul founded BHDA. &ldquo;We wanted to do things differently, so we decided to share the whole process with our clients. We mentor them. It&rsquo;s a big investment for our business, but we&rsquo;ve already seen that it works. I know we&rsquo;ve made at least one client prosper. He came back to us with two more opportunities. We don&rsquo;t advertise our services because we are getting good word of mouth referrals.&rdquo;
Paul says he is a perpetual student. He is currently completing his Master of Architecture at Deakin University. &ldquo;People ask if they should continue their studies,&rdquo; he says. &ldquo;I always say, why not? Everything makes more sense when you study. I never imagined I&rsquo;d be where I am when I first started. I&rsquo;m looking now at how we can use augmented reality in design.&rdquo; Paul keeps a strong connection to Box Hill and volunteers with the final year students. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s great to see their projects take shape.&rdquo;
He also has grand plans for his business. Paul recently bought a commercial office, which they hope to open in May 2019.
