At Box Hill Institute, we give you all of the skills needed to make a name for yourself in the fashion industry.

Our Bachelor courses cover design, technology, production and business studies where the focus is on creativity and innovation.

In our Fashion courses, you will learn a range of skills from design, concept development, creating your own patterns, garment construction, producing and marketing your own unique collection which you will showcase at the end of year graduate runway show. You will also learn about the influences on fashion and how to use specialised equipment and technology to industry standard. Career paths lead to a designer, product developer, pattern technician, production manager, illustrator, trend forecaster or fashion stylist.

In our Fashion Merchandising courses, the units will cover Fashion Buying Principles, Trend Forecast and range development, Visual Merchandising, Digital marketing technologies. You will also complete a collaborative merchandising project with a retailer in the final semester, as well as an internship. Career paths after this course include fashion buyer, stylist, fashion blogger, event manager, product developer, brand manager, visual merchandiser and fashion publicist and marketer.
