The demand for people with 3D animation skills has increased over the last few years in the games industry due to the explosion of the indie market in Australia.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to 3D animation for students new to the study area. It prepares students for working in various animation industries, with an emphasis on game design.

By the end of this course, you will have created a simple animation and gained knowledge and insight in animation theory, along with skills in framing, graph editors and animation manipulation tools.

Students have the option to be assessed against the nationally recognised competency ICTGAM303 Review and apply the principles of animation, which can count towards a Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games (ICT40915).
