This course will teach you the skills and knowledge required to provide assistance to health professionals involved in the care of clients.
Within this program you will also develop a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge relating to
- infection prevention and control,
- workplace health and safety,
- client movement,
- cultural diversity,
- workplace procedures and
- communication.
For 2025 year 2 students will have the opportunity to complete the remaining units of the qualification of the following by enrolling in Certificate III in Health Services Assistance . This will include the required work placement hours to achieve the full qualification.
