Certificate III in Beauty Services
Our beauty course will provide you with hands on learning in a variety of beauty techniques so you can work in a salon as a beautician.
In this beauty course, you will learn beauty techniques such as waxing, manicures and pedicures, make-up, cosmetic tanning, eyelash extensions and tinting services. Along with these practical skills, you will gain an understand of the science of skin, hair and nails. Plus, you’ll hone your skills in communication and retail techniques necessary for a successful career in the beauty industry.

Part time: 23 weeks (Lilydale)
- be 17 years, or mature age
- have successfully completed Year 11
- have sufficient literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course
- possess excellent people skills
Successful completion will enable you to apply for our SHB40115 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or the SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy specialisation streams in spa therapies or permanent hair removal. You may receive credit for your previous study.
This course is government accredited and has national recognition
The qualification is aligned with the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 3
This course may lead to work in beauty salons, nail bars and retail counters.
You must complete 15 units (including 11 core and 4 electives).
