1. On Campus

Our on campus delivery mode combines the best of both worlds, offering a blend of in person and practical learning experiences. You'll attend engaging face to face classes and gain hands on skills in our simulated dental environment at Elgar Campus.

2. Industry (Traineeship)

For those seeking flexibility, our industry focused course is fully online. You'll receive dedicated support from a knowledgeable trainer available through our Student Web platform and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, your trainer will make at least four workplace visits, scheduled in collaboration with you and your employer, to assess your progress and provide guidance.  

3. Workplace Based (Employed)

Designed for those already working in the dental industry, our workplace based course is also fully online. You'll benefit from the support of a dedicated trainer via our Student Web platform and Microsoft Teams. Just like the Industry mode, you'll enjoy a minimum of four workplace visits from your trainer to assess your performance and provide valuable insights.

Work Placement Requirements

To obtain your Certificate III in Dental Assisting, you must complete the requisite hours of work placement in a dental practice. Here's what's required based on your chosen delivery mode:

• On Campus: complete a minimum of 300 hours of work placement within a dental practice. It's your responsibility to arrange this placement.

• Workplace Based (Employed) and Industry (Traineeship): fulfil at least 350 hours of work placement within the dental practice where you are employed. This experience is crucial to your workplace assessments and learning.
