PRE-TRAINING REVIEW - to assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for the individual needs, Box Hill Institute will assess all students’ language, literacy and numeracy and digital literacy by asking you to undertake a self-assessment review prior to the enrolment. A course advisor will discuss the outcomes of the review and make recommendations about whether the course is suitable for you, and identify additional support where required.
Successful completion will enable you to apply for further studies in related health courses including in Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or the Diploma of Nursing.

Completion of 15 units of competency (9 core and 6 electives).
In addition, you must complete at least 120 hours of work placement which is organised by our Industry Engagement & Placement Coordinator. This requirement takes place upon completion of your coursework and completed compliance for placement.
