About the course

About the course

This blended delivery beauty therapy course provides you with the flexibility to study in your own time and attend practical classes during the day, while undertaking shifts in our fully functioning beauty salon. Specialising in a range of beauty treatments, this course will prepare you for work in a 5-star resort, medi spas, skin clinics, cruise ships and beauty salons. As part of this course you have the opportunity to sit your ITEC exams and become internationally accredited to work around the world using your beauty skills.

You’ll gain current beauty treatment knowledge and be guided to find your own beauty speciality. While learning how to practice the ancient healing methods of aromatherapy and massage, you'll advance your skills in performing traditional beauty therapy treatments such as waxing, makeup and manicures and pedicures.

Our Diploma of Beauty Therapy FASTRACK option allows you to complete the Diploma of Beauty Therapy in just 6 months. This course is designed for those who have previously completed a qualification in either Certificate III in Beauty Services or Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy. This FASTRACK option factors in the Credit transfers you have obtained and only includes the units that you need to complete to gain your industry recognised Diploma of Beauty therapy.

In both our Diplomas you'll also learn advanced treatment techniques such as spa, hydrotherapy and wet treatments, permanent hair reduction (electrolysis), diathermy, massage, specialised facial and body treatments, and microdermabrasion - all while incorporating a holistic approach using a range of professional products and environmentally sustainable practices.

Through supportive guidance from our industry professional trainers, you'll gain a huge amount of new skills and confidence learning in our on campus beauty salon.
