PRE-TRAINING REVIEW

To assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for the individual needs, Box Hill Institute will assess all students’ language, literacy and numeracy and digital literacy by asking you to undertake a self-assessment review prior to the enrolment.

A course advisor will discuss the outcomes of the review and make recommendations about whether the course is suitable for you, and identify additional support where required.

After successful completion, you may wish to apply for a range of degree courses in areas including:

  • sports management
  • sports administration
  • outdoor recreation
  • teaching
  • event management

You may be eligible to receive credits up to 12 months for your completed studies

VTAC and direct entry

Recognition of Prior Learning is available.

This course is government accredited and has national recognition

The qualification is aligned with the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 5

This qualification will prepare you for work in a wide range of roles in the sports and events industries.

Through your practical work experience, you’ll gain confidence and the essential management skills to apply for employment opportunities in:

  • event management
  • sport facility management
  • sports management

You will complete 20 units, including 11 core and 9 elective units

Lilydale is a blend of face-to-face, online and self-directed study – evening delivery

Box Hill will be greater face-to-face day-time delivery
