Disconnect/Reconnect – Restricted Electrical Workers Licence Class 2 (Composite Appliances)
Our disconnect/reconnect composite appliances course will give you the skills and knowledge required in electrical safety and basic electrical principles to enable you to apply to Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) for your Restricted Electrical Workers License.
Having this license will allow you to safely disconnect and reconnect low voltage electrical equipment following prescribed procedures. This course focuses on composite appliances.

- UEENEEE101A Apply occupational health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
- UEENEEP012A Disconnect reconnect composite appliances connected to low voltage installation wiring
Assessment covers composite appliances only.
You must be employed in a primary work function where there is a need to disconnect/reconnect electrical equipment that is incidental to your primary function.
Prior to enrolment - please contact Energy Safe Victoria to get confirmation of what unit of competency is best matched to your primary work area to ensure you that are eligible to gain this licence after completion of the course and independent assessment.
