This short course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. 

There are two different delivery options for this short course: 

  1. Blended – Completion of pre-course study and assessment plus 6 hours practical training and assessment.
  2. Face to Face – Completion of 2 full days (14 hours) theory/practical training and assessment.  

Following the successful completion of this short course, you will be able to:

  1. Respond to an emergency situation
  2. Apply appropriate first aid procedures
  3. Communicate details of the incident
  4. Evaluate the incident and own performance

Upon successful completion of all assessments, you will receive a statement of attainment for HLTAID003 Provide first aid.
