You will learn to follow food safety programs and instructions, prevent cross contamination, correct storage temperatures, follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards.

You’ll also cover identifying and reporting personal health issues and storing food safely and hygienically.  The course will also cover preventative measures, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and working environment.

This course can also be assessed in Mandarin and Cantonese.  Please speak with the Institute about this option.

This course is a prerequisite for SITXFSA002. If you successfully complete both units you will meet the requirements to become an accredited food safety supervisor.
