This course will provide you with the knowledge to safeguard yourself and others in the workplace.

There are many different uses for Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) or medical and cosmetic laser. Patients have individual needs and having the basic understanding of what different products are on the market can help us choose the most appropriate treatment for them.

More importantly, this course also explains laser/IPL safety and what should be practiced in the day-to-day safe handling of a laser or IPL machine.

In some states, this course is a requirement before you are able to work with lasers so please check the requirements of your state. Please note that this Laser Safety Course is accredited by QLD Radiation Health and WA Radiation Health and will allow you to practice in Victoria, NSW, SA, ACT, QLD, NT and WA.

Our courses in laser and IPL have been developed in conjunction with Trudy Flemming, a world-renowned laser and IPL expert.

This course is a prerequisite to a suite of other short courses in the Beauty area.

Training is provided in conjunction with Cosmetic Institute of Australia.

Our Medical Cosmetics courses are delivered in conjunction with Cosmetic Institute of Australia and are available in bundles for specific professional needs.
