The course will be run by Frank Varrasso, who has run promotions and publicity departments at both state and national levels for numerous record labels, including Warner Music Australia, EMI Music Australia, and Festival Mushroom Records, and was Senior Director of National Promotions and Publicity at Sony Music, before starting his own media promotions and publicity company, Varrasso PR in 2009. 

The course will cover such topics as:

  • music marketing strategy
  • social media marketing for artists and bands
  • marketing and promotion plan

You will also gain insight into industry trends.

Students should bring something to take notes on: either a laptop or pen and paper.
