Fountains Restaurant is Box Hill Institute’s premier training restaurant. Operating for 30 years, it has produced renowned and award-winning chefs including Tobie Puttock, George Calombaris, Guy Grossi, Adam D’Sylva, Frank Camorra, Joe Vargetto and Curtis Stone, to name just a few.

Our quality menu changes with the seasons and showcases the best of seasonal produce. Our culinary style fuses the traditional with the modern. You’ll enjoy a la carte and buffet dining, as well as a choice of beverages from our well-stocked bar.

Fountains Restaurant has been designed to give our future up-and-coming Chefs and Hospitality students the opportunity to gain real-life experience during their studies. From front-of-house service to the preparation of tasty dishes, our hospitality, apprentice and cookery students are supervised and guided by industry experienced teaching staff.

Functions at Fountains Restaurant

Located at Box Hill Institute in Melbourne's East, Fountains Restaurant is a premier function venue. Fountains Restaurant is perfect for all occasions including cocktail functions, formal dining, business meetings, workshops and corporate events. The venue offers lift access, a fully serviced bar, AV equipment and space for a dance floor. Fountains Restaurant is the ideal space for cocktail or formal dining for up to 200 guests, with a flexible space to cater to all of you needs. We can also cater for intimate, smaller gatherings, with a private dining room that seats up to 20 people.

Speak to one of our staff to select a food and beverage package to suit your needs. Your event will be serviced by our front-of-house students, who are studying hospitality. Our team of industry experienced teachers supervise the students and work closely with you to create a seamless experience for your next event.
