Here is everything you need to know about completing your course and preparing for graduation.
Graduation Checklist - to be eligible to graduate
All core and elective units must be passed, and any other requirements, such as work placement (if relevant).
Have your details changed since you enrolled? Please update with Student Administration by submitting a change of personal details variation form, available at www.boxhill.edu.au/studentforms
The final submission date for award application is 25 January 2019 but it should be completed asap. Speak with your course coordinator if you are unsure.
You will have been contacted if your USI was missing – no USI means no certificate!
All outstanding fees and fines must be settled to ensure eligibility to graduate.
Check results in EStudent via StudentWeb to see if these have been applied and if not, contact your course coordinator.

CEREMONY & TICKETS
You will need to purchase a ticket for yourself and family and friends wanting to attend.
Tickets cost $40 per person (graduates and guests are the same price). Children under 12 are free (please ensure you select the ‘Child’ ticket option). The price includes:
- Entry ticket to the ceremony
- Official program
- Pre-ceremony catering
- Gown hire for graduates
Graduating students will be emailed a link to purchase tickets in the weeks prior to the ceremony.
**Ticket bookings are essential**
If you have not received the email, please contact your course coordinator to check eligibility. (and remember – check your junk mail).
The graduation ceremonies will be held at the Goldfields Theatre, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Please see details for each faculty below.
Students who have completed two courses will graduate with their highest qualification, e.g. If a student has completed a Certificate IV and a Diploma, they will receive a certificate for their Diploma at graduation.

Graduands will be assigned seating upon registration.
All guests (family and friends) have non-allocated seating within the auditorium.
If you require assistance at the ceremony, please contact email@example.com or 1300 BOX HILL at least one week prior to graduation so your needs can be accommodated.
As part of your ticket purchase, you will be asked to select your gown size and regalia requirements.
ON THE DAY
All specific graduation details, including timings, when to arrive, what to wear and ceremony photography will be provided via email to eligible students.
Goldfields Theatre, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
Arriving by taxi: Drop off points are at 1 Convention Centre Place or 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf.
Arriving by tram: Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel along Spencer/Clarendon Streets and stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Tram numbers 48 and 70 stop at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River, across the new pedestrian bridge.
Arriving by train: Take the train to Southern Cross Station. Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel past Southern Cross Station down Spencer/Clarendon Streets and stop opposite the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Arriving on foot: Pedestrian access is along Southbank or across the new pedestrian bridge.
Arriving by car / parking: Parking is available at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and adjacent car parks.
