Box Hill Campus
All students wanting to utilise any of the Institute car parking areas need to purchase a `Student Parking Permit’ from the Student Administration office on the ground floor of building E4 Elgar Road Campus.
A valid daily paid ticket needs to be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicles along with the Student Permit. Failure to have both displayed will incur an Infringement Notice being issued.
Daily tickets are available from the ticket machines located in each carpark. Disabled parking spaces within Institute car parking areas must also display student parking permit as well appropriate disabled parking permit. The Student Permits cost $13.50 (Full Year), $6.80 Concession, 1st Semester $6.80, $3.50 concession.
Students should pick up a Campus Maps brochure from the Information Kiosk or Student Administration counter, to familiarise themselves with all buildings & carparks.
Nelson campus parking is available for students and visitors. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine for permit holders only. Disabled parking is also available.
Paid parking is also available at Ace Parking, 990 Whitehorse Road Box Hill (under the Tax Office building), open Mon– Fri 6am–7pm, fees 0-1 hour $1.20, $2.00 every hour thereafter, $5.50 maximum per day, $4.00 after 1pm.
Parking in and around the Elgar campus is limited however Box Hill is well serviced by public transport including trams, trains and buses. Elgar Campus is approximately 10 minutes walk from Box Hill Station.
Parking at Elgar Campus is restricted to permit holders only. Parking options are:

Limited onsite car parking is available. Additional parking is available at nearby shopping centres.
Car parking is available at nearby Wilson, Secure Parking and Melbourne City Council car parks. Standard rates apply.
Disabled car parks are located at every campus and are available for use by anyone displaying the appropriate disabled parking permit.
