JobTrainer
JobTrainer provides young people and job seekers access to low fee training in all JobTrainer courses and access to free training in Free TAFE courses at Box Hill Institute.
Targeted towards the sectors identified as growth areas, such as health, trades, aged and disability care, hair, beauty, horticulture, IT and business, JobTrainer will help the economy rebound by ensuring the workforce has the skills required today, and into the future.
Students are entitled to one JobTrainer commencement in a qualification in their lifetime, plus one JobTrainer commencement in a Skills Set in their lifetime.
Eligibility Criteria
A person can participate under JobTrainer if they are:
- 17 to 24 years old when the course starts; or
- a job seeker of any age; and
- have not already commenced as a ‘JobTrainer’ in another JobTrainer qualification (if enrolling in a qualification); or
- have not already commenced as a ‘JobTrainer’ in another JobTrainer Skills Set (if enrolling is a Skills Set).
Students must also meet other Skills First government-funding eligibility criteria.
