COVID-19 Exposure – Elgar campus, Building E3, Thursday 7 October

Box Hill Institute was advised early Saturday 9 October of a confirmed case of COVID-19 on site at Elgar campus, Building 3, on Thursday 7 October.

In response to this advice, Box Hill Institute has taken all necessary actions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to return to operations safely.

All affected students, staff and contractors who were identified as being in Building E3 during the exposure time have been notified of the situation, what the next steps are and offered support.

Elgar campus Building E3 is currently closed and a “deep clean” was carried out over the weekend in accordance with Box Hill Institute’s COVID Safe Plan. All relevant authorities have been advised of the situation and will be updated as necessary.
