Box Hill Institute has signed a milestone Memorandum of Understanding with Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The agreement was signed by Box Hill Institute CEO Norman Gray and Zheng Shefang, Chair of the University Council of the Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences in a ceremony held Tuesday 15 December 2015.
The historic memorandum will underpin cooperation between Box Hill Institute and the University in delivering programs for nursing and laboratory techniques, providing professional development for teachers and developing student exchange pathways.
The prestigious Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences was established in 2015 as the result of a merger between three Shanghai medical and health care universities. Situated in the Shanghai International Medical Zone, the University is recognised for its high-tech teaching facilities and specialises in clinical medicine, allied health and medical instrumentation.
Box Hill Institute looks forward to working closely with the Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences to help educate the medical professionals of the future.
