World skills 1

Box Hill Institute culinary student and apprentice chef Ryan Cosentino has taken out a gold medal at the 2015 WorldSkills Australia Regional Competition.

The win means Ryan has the opportunity to compete for his region at the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Competition, Melbourne.

WorldSkills Australia is a national, not-for-profit organisation that provides young Australians aged 23 and under the opportunity to gain new skills, compete against their peers in their chosen trade and fast track their skills and career development.

Box Hill Institute congratulates Ryan on his outstanding achievement and looks forward to cheering him on if he’s successful in making the National Competition.
