New Integrated Centre for Sustainable Construction for Lilydale

Deputy Victorian Premier and Minister for Education, James Merlino has made a significant commitment to Box Hill Institute’s Lilydale Lakeside Campus today announcing $10.2 million for an Integrated Centre for Sustainable Construction if his government is re-elected in the 24 November State election.

Working in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and sustainable skills, this impressive facility will be a modern industrial factory and warehouse fitted out to meet educational needs including workshops, classrooms, staff workplaces, material storage, and amenities.

The Integrated Centre for Sustainable Construction will provide pathways to jobs of the future with students training to meet the demands of the rapidly expanding construction industry.
