Box Hill Institute is the first TAFE in Australia to offer a Masters Degree with our Master of International Music Business and Master of Music (Contemporary Practice).

Benjamin Huang studied for a Bachelor of Applied Music – Composition and won last year’s Tropscore, Australia’s largest film score competition and the sister competition to short film festival Tropfest.

Will Evans, Lucas Doppler and Louis Papantos are music business students who started their own record label, ZERO through NINE Records and have released music from artists such as Japanese Wallpaper, Leaks and Lower Spectrum. As Ben O’Hara – Head of Music Business (Higher Education) at BHI says, the course is designed to offer practical skills and is taught by music industry experts, so the students finish with a rounded knowledge of the music industry and substantial contact list and great music industry internships.
