In partnership with the Apprenticeship Employment Network and group training organisation Apprenticeship And Traineeship Employment Partners, Box Hill Institute is running Multi Industry Pilot (MIP) programs.

These programs provide young people (15 to 24 years of age) who are no longer studying with a range of industry experiences so they can make an informed decision about pursuing an apprenticeship or traineeship. The duration and cost of the MIP programs vary according to the study area.

Program Outcomes:

  • Completion of a Certificate II plus other accredited training
  • Training related to 3 different occupations
  • 3 weeks paid work placement with one or more employers
  • $500 payment on successful completion of the work placement and program
  • Hands on experience/training in multiple industries/occupations
  • Support and advice on obtaining an apprenticeship or traineeship
