Box Hill Institute partnered with Australia’s most famous recording studio – Sing Sing Studios – to develop the world class facility, blending the latest in studio design with Sing Sing’s classic equipment

The new music school facility includes a range of recording studios, film production suites, practice rooms, and a flexible 250-seat performance space. Acoustics and audio visual engineering company, Hanson Associates has provided fully integrated engineering solutions including studio design, vibration isolation, auditorium acoustics, noise control, and production systems.

In the past, Sing Sing Studios has hosted the likes of Midnight Oil, Elvis Costello, Paul Kelly, Powderfinger, and many more. Sing Sing East will become a hub for industry players to record, impart their experience to students, and perform in the state of the art performance space.
