Box Hill Institute’s Lilydale Lakeside campus is soon to open a $10.2 million state-of-the-art trades training centre to deliver industry-current apprenticeship training in wood, electrical, plumbing and automotive trades. 

Our new, purpose-built, flexibly designed facility will provide the Yarra Ranges and surrounding areas with training opportunities, addressing key gaps in the education and training available in the region, which has growing industry demand for skilled workers.

The Certificate II in Split Air-Conditioning & Heat Pump Systems is a course designed for those currently working as a plumber or electrician who want to upskill and apply for a refrigerant handling licence. The course will ehance your skills in installing and disconnecting both split air-conditioning and water heating pump systems and working with refrigerant tubing and fittings.
