Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Elgar campus can be found on Elgar Rd in Box Hill.

Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Nelson campus is the second location in Box Hill situated on Whitehorse Road.

Located 15 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Whitehorse campus can be found on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.

Our CBD campus is co-located with the Centre for Adult Education in the heart of Melbourne&rsquo;s Central Business District.

Our Lakeside Lilydale campus serves the local community as an active learning centre with a range of vocational and higher education courses. The campus is also home to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

When Erin finished high school, she thought she didn&rsquo;t have the marks to get into the Social Services sector and &ldquo;just fell&rdquo; into the Beauty sector.&nbsp;
&ldquo;I was a hairdresser for over 10 years, but I&rsquo;d dreamed of working in community services from my high school years,&rdquo; Erin said.&nbsp;
&ldquo;It was actually a new friend working in the industry who said to me, &lsquo;You would be really good in the community services industry&rsquo;.&rdquo;
&ldquo;The thought of studying again was really frightening, but she convinced me to come to Box Hill Institute&rsquo;s Open Day and talk to the staff at Community Services. &ldquo;They were so welcoming and they made me feel like I could really do this, so I applied the next day.&rdquo;
Fast forward, and Erin is happily working for a leading not-for-profit organisation in the Community Services sector.&nbsp;
&ldquo;It&rsquo;s incredible. I&rsquo;m working alongside people with degrees and double degrees but my time at Box Hill Institute and the things I learnt really set me up to be confident in what I could do in the industry.&rdquo;
&ldquo;I think you have to believe in yourself and just have a go.&rdquo;
