Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Elgar campus can be found on Elgar Rd in Box Hill.

Located 14 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Nelson campus is the second location in Box Hill situated on Whitehorse Road.

Located 15 kilometres east of Melbourne City, the Whitehorse campus can be found on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.

Our CBD campus is co-located with the Centre for Adult Education in the heart of Melbourne&rsquo;s Central Business District.

Our Lakeside Lilydale campus serves the local community as an active learning centre with a range of vocational and higher education courses. The campus is also home to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

Like many students, Amy wasn&rsquo;t sure what she wanted to do when she completed her VCE.&nbsp;
She went to the Box Hill Institute Open Day to assess her options and was immediately drawn to the plumbing courses in the Trades program.&nbsp;
&ldquo;What I love about plumbing is the versatility and adaptability of the trade. I can choose water or gas, I can decide to go commercial or do residential. It just gives me a lot more control over where I want to go,&rdquo; Amy said.
After graduating, Amy completed her pre-apprenticeship and soon after was offered an apprenticeship with the same company. Not long after, the employer offered her a full-time job which she is really enjoying.&nbsp;
Now a full-time plumber and loving her new career, Amy has set new goals.&nbsp;
&ldquo;I&rsquo;d like to return to Box Hill Institute to get my Certificate IV, so I can sign off on work and eventually start my own plumbing business,&rdquo; she said.&nbsp;
We are so proud of Amy for what she has achieved but also because of her ambitious drive for the future.
