This course will help students to actively participate in the community whilst developing their skills to explore volunteering, supported or open employment or to access further study options.

PRE-TRAINING REVIEW
To assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for the individual needs, Box Hill Institute will assess all students’ language, literacy and numeracy and digital literacy by asking you to undertake a self-assessment review prior to the enrolment.
A course advisor will discuss the outcomes of the review and make recommendations about whether the course is suitable for you, and identify additional support where required.
This course is run by Box Hill Institute for a variety of disability service providers. If you wish to apply, your disability service provider will refer you to the Box Hill Institute Course Coordinator.
After you've completed the course you may wish to progress into a variety of Certificate I or II courses or into supported or open employment.
