About the course

Are you interested in becoming a vocational education teacher in your area of expertise? Whether you already possess vocational qualifications or have hands on experience in a trade or industry, this is your opportunity to train the next generation of professionals.

When you enrol in our training and assessment program, you'll gain the skills and qualifications required to become a nationally recognised trainer in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector or an industry based trainer/assessor. Our experienced TAE trainers will guide you through the process, equipping you with essential knowledge and professional expertise to achieve a successful career in training.

Throughout the course, you'll develop proficiency in the following areas:

• leading group based learning programs
• providing workplace based instruction
• crafting effective learning programs
• delivering skill based training
• implementing assessment activities and processes
• utilising training packages and accredited courses
• offering adult language, literacy, and numeracy support

During your training, you will be supported by our teachers and receive comprehensive learning resources to help you including eLearning modules, printable learner guides, a simulated RTO website and other online resources.

This course requires you to regularly attend classes and actively participate. You will also need to dedicate at least 6 hours a week outside of the class to manage your study load, and have access to at least six people who could act as your students for some of your assessments in an in-person environment. These commitments will help you get the most out of your training.
