Pre-apprenticeships

Pre-apprenticeships let you experience what it’s like to work in an industry prior to making the commitment to an apprenticeship. You might also receive credit for the study you complete, which shortens the time it takes to complete an apprenticeship. Undertaking a pre-apprenticeship equips students with the skills and knowledge to start an apprenticeship, and our on-campus Skills and Jobs Centres can match our students with employers seeking an apprentice, providing a seamless pathway to employment. Some pre-apprenticeships also include work experience, which provides an opportunity to try out other trades.
