Training and education partnerships with Disability Service Providers

Box Hill Institute works in partnership with Disability Service Providers to deliver interactive and engaging programs for people with disabilities, so that they can enjoy being part of the community and prepare for work or further courses.

Training and Education Partnerships with Disability Service Providers

Box Hill Institute has a number of experiential learning models that have been developed with our partners and are customised to the needs of participants. Whether learners require independent life skills, literacy and numeracy skills or skills to get ready for work, Box Hill Institute will work with you to design a program that best meets your goals and promotes choice and control for individuals.

Training delivery is either face to face at the Disability Service Provider’s preferred location or at a Box Hill Institute campus.

Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy

These courses are here to help break down the barriers to education, training and employment. Numbers and words can be confusing for people with a permanent cognitive impairment or intellectual disability. When literacy and numeracy skills are under developed, ordinary life in the community can be affected. These courses are prepped to help participants become more actively involved in their community!
