Hawthorn Football Club’s latest partnership drives the future of sport

Hawthorn Football Club has partnered with leading training provider Box Hill Institute, in an exciting new venture to train the next generation of sports professionals.

The new venture, named Hawthorn College of Sport, offers students a dual diploma in Sport and Leadership and Management. Delivered by Box Hill Institute’s sports experts, it will provide industry-leading learning paired with valuable hands-on experience in Hawthorn’s high-performance environment.

Students will also be exposed to education opportunities and on-the-job training that prepares them for an exciting future within the sports industry.

Box Hill Institute CEO Grant Radford sees the new partnership as part of their ongoing commitment to industry-connected learning. “We pride ourselves on making sure we connect students with life changing learning, with the current and emerging skills needed by employers” he said.

“Students in this course will benefit from the expertise of two industry-leading organisations, giving them a competitive edge as they begin their careers.”

Hawthorn CEO Ash Klein was thrilled to unveil the exciting new collaboration.
