Biosecurity Centre

Box Hill Institute has collaborated with local industry to provide students the latest technology, research and resources in one centre to guide students in their careers – Protect our food supply, our native plants and animals, and help protect our natural ecosystems. The Centre provides training and facilitates research that aims to protect Australia’s food, farming and agriculture industries, and our environment. Based at our Lilydale Lakeside campus, the Biosecurity Centre is in close proximity to the Yarra Valley agricultural industry, Melbourne’s main water catchment area, and the Yarra Ranges National Park.
