Your graduation ceremony is an exciting time that celebrates the completion of your qualification and welcomes you into the alumni community. Find information below on graduation dates, invitations and preparing for your ceremony.

Graduation Eligibility

Graduation is a great time to celebrate and reflect on what you have achieved, sharing this important milestone with classmates, teachers, family and friends.  Only students eligible to graduate will be contacted via email and invited to purchase a ticket.

To ensure that you are ready and eligible to graduate, check that you have: 

  • Passed all your core and elective units and other requirements like work placement
  • Ensured your contact details are up to date. Have they changed since starting your study at Box Hill Institute? You can update your details using the contact details form below
  • No outstanding Recognition of Prior Learning or Credit Transfers from other study
  • A USI (Unique Student Identifier) – no USI means no certificate
  • Paid all outstanding fees and fines. If you are unsure, email at studentadmin@boxhill.edu.au
  • Completed and submitted an award application with your teaching faculty

Graduation 2020 Postponed

Given the existing circumstances in Victoria in relation to Coronavirus, Box Hill Institute has made the decision to postpone the 2020 Graduation Ceremonies. 

Graduation is a momentous occasion and a special milestone for our graduates, their families and friends and our staff. Once the Victorian Government permits the hosting of large events, we will be in contact with further correspondence.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our graduates at a ceremony, once permitted to do so.
