If you’re passionate about food and dream of becoming a chef, this apprenticeship is your perfect starting point. Within 3 years, you’ll learn the art of cooking in real commercial kitchens while being supported by expert trainers and monthly hands-on sessions at Box Hill Institute.

From baking fresh bread and filleting fish to designing menus and mastering speciality dishes, you’ll build practical skills that employers value. You’ll study online at your own pace, train on the job, and receive regular visits from your trainer to guide your progress and answer questions.

This nationally recognised qualification prepares you to become a qualified trade cook, ready to work in restaurants, hotels, or catering. You’ll also have the chance to showcase your talent in industry competitions and awards.
