9 April 2020 Coronavirus Update

2020-04-09

There have been no reported coronavirus (COVID-19) cases at Box Hill Institute campuses as at 2.30pm, Thursday 9 April 2020.

The latest Stage 3 restrictions for Victoria have come into effect and this means there are only four reasons to leave your home: food and supplies, medical care, exercise, and work or education. These restrictions will be reviewed in three weeks.

For information on course delivery and assessments, building consolidation, campus operations and services, please refer to the 7 April 2020 Coronavirus Update. This information remains unchanged.

Working for Victoria

The State Government has launched a $500 million Working for Victoria initiative to help Victorians, including people who have lost their jobs due to the economic impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19), find new work opportunities. Some of these roles will provide vital contributions to the state’s response to the pandemic.

If you are a jobseeker in Victoria, you can register your details on the Working for Victoria site to access new work opportunities.

Eligible workers can apply their skills to new roles or take up training opportunities for specific roles. Organisations and employers that are looking for workers can find experienced and screened staff who are ready to work.
