COVID-19 Outbreak in NSW - Notice for Victorians

2021-05-19

The Victorian Government has established a list of public exposure locations due to a confirmed positive case of COVID-19. The list of Victorian exposure sites and health advice for each site continues to be updated. Locations may be removed after 14 days since the last known date a confirmed case attended the location.

The Department of Health and Human Services has provided the following advice for anyone who visited one of the listed sites, within the timeframes provided:

Tier 1 Exposure Sites

Anyone who has visited a Tier 1 exposure site during the times listed must immediately isolate, get a coronavirus (COVID-19) test and quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure.

Tier 2 Exposure Sites

Anyone who has visited a Tier 2 exposure site during times listed should urgently get a test and isolate until they receive a negative result.

Tier 3 Exposure Sites

Anyone who has visited a Tier 3 exposure site during times listed should monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop, immediately get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

If this applies to anyone on a Box Hill Institute campus, please contact your Course Coordinator immediately and leave campus.

This is a timely reminder as we transition to living with COVID-19, we need to continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action. Please continue to adhere to the COVID principles we have adopted for on campus activities.
