The first week of our phased return to campus has gone very well and next Monday 18 May, we will see increased student numbers attending the Box Hill and Lilydale campuses for practical classes.
All students invited to attend a class on campus will undergo a daily screening and must sign a student declaration to ensure the health and safety of all students on campus.
Strict social distancing measures have been implemented, hand sanitiser is available, and reminders are being made to wash hands frequently and wipe down any equipment being used.
Students with underlying health conditions or in high risk categories that make them vulnerable are not required to return to campus, in line with the advice provided by the Department of Health and Human Services - COVID 19 Information.
Services on Campus
The following services are available on campus:
The Department of Health’s COVIDSafe app is available to help find close contacts of COVID-19 cases. The COVIDSafe app speeds up the manual process of finding people who have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19. You can read more about it here.
Public Transport Victoria has information on its website about the measures it is taking to keep passengers safe, including increased cleaning and cashless transactions. It also outlines measures passengers can take including social distancing.
While we are working through this phased transition to campus, we are encouraging students to share feedback with us about our processes and procedures on campus in response to COVID-19.
Students can send feedback to email@example.com. Collecting this feedback will enable our project team to ensure that our processes are working effectively in our goal to keep you safe.
